Every year, universities with an accredited journalism program may nominate two student entrants to compete in the William Randolph Hearst photojournalism news and feature competition. This year, Chris Day and I were entrants for the University of Florida.


I'm excited to announce that my colleague placed 10th and I placed 14th! I've been told by my professors that this is the highest placement in this category in UF's history.
